When grilling, the classic must of course not be missing: the Bratwurst! Be it at parties or in the football stadium, a delicious sausage, such as the Knackwurst, is always eaten with pleasure. If you add some mustard, ketchup, curry sauce, bread or salad, the snack will be perfect. While in the past there were mainly sausages made of pork, beef or poultry, nowadays vegetarian or vegan alternatives are becoming more and more popular. However, meat-free sausages made from tofu, soya, seitan, lupines or tempeh are comparatively expensive on the market. In addition, they are often given artificial additives to imitate the meat taste. You can only avoid that no preservatives, emulsifiers, phosphates or flavour enhancers are processed in the sausage if you produce them yourself. Not only can you select good ingredients, you can also determine the taste. Whether you add different spices like pimento, marjoram, chilli or fresh herbs like wild garlic, you get exactly the sausage you like.
